Employers are a crucial component to the success story of the Aimhigher partnership. Aimhigher Yorkshire and Humber works with a range of sectors and employer representatives, including the Business Links and the Employer Coalition.
From an employer’s perspective, Aimhigher Yorkshire and Humber delivers activities enabling people within the region to gain the skills, knowledge and experience required for a skilled and educated work force. Employers value graduate skills, and projections show that at least half the jobs created in the future will require higher level skills (Leitch Report 2007).
